about me

I graduated in May 2023 with a B.A in Journalism with minors in Public Health and Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C. I hope to continue my career in the field of journalism upon graduation since I fell in love with the fast-paced dynamic of a newsroom.

I spent this past spring semester interning with the Capitol Hill team at NBC News, where I staked-out members of Congress and transcribed press conferences. On the Hill, I interviewed and recorded lawmakers to write corresponding summaries of news bites for internal distribution.

On campus, I wrote for student media and served as a Program Associate and Teaching Assistant with the Community-Based Research Scholars program where I liaised between students and faculty to enhance student learning.

Post-grad, you can find me baking one of my favorite NYT recipes: a cardamom, hazelnut and pear tart.
